What can I do here?
Flexible switching is activated when a phone number is still active but has no final destination. If a VoIP account and a user have been removed and the number is still active, the system automatically looks for a final destination.
Fields
To set up flexible switching for a user, follow these steps:
Personal Information tab
- Click on Users in the main menu. Then click on Add.
- Enter a first name, last name, and email address.
- Then enter a password twice.
- Select End user for 'Access Management'.
Security tab
- Check the box Log out after 10 minutes
Add destinations
- Click on Fixed/Mobile in the main menu and then click on Add.
- Enter the desired phone number where calls can be forwarded to in the Phone number field.
- Enter a description.
- Select your preferred option for Number display.
- Select the user you just created to link this destination to this user
- Click on Save.
- Repeat this step if you need to add another destination.
Assign destination to user after setup
- Click on Users in the main menu and select the user you just created.
- Select the "Telephony settings" tab
- Select the desired destination under "Fixed/mobile number".
- Click on Save.
Modify dial plan
- Click on Dial plan in the main menu and then select the number that needs to be used for flexible switching.
- Add a step by clicking the plus button.
- Select User in the first dropdown menu and in the second dropdown menu select the user you just created.
- Click on save.

The user can now log in with their own username and password to change their destination.
