Fax to Email

Fax to Email is the service that allows you to receive faxes. These faxes are sent to your fax number. The system converts this fax into a PDF document and then sends it to the email address you specified. For this, you need the fax to email service and a phone/fax number.

Setup

If you want to set up this service, follow these steps:

• Click on the orange 'add' button
• Agree to the stated costs
• Give a name to the fax account (for example 'faxtoemail' or 'fax Company Name')
• Enter the email address where incoming faxes should be sent
• Go back to the dashboard (If you don't have a fax number yet, you can create one at the 'phone number' icon)
• Go to 'Routing' and click on add.
• In the 'suggestions' section, click on the number you want to use as a fax number and click on 'step 2')
• Click in the gray bar and select 'fax to email' in the first dropdown menu and the email address in the second dropdown menu
• Click 'save' and you're done!

Faxes not arriving?

When fax messages aren't arriving, it's always because the email messages are being blocked somewhere. First check your email spam filters. The fax message is sent from a no-reply email address from your provider. Make sure this address is accepted by your mail client.
