Record sounds which can later be used in various ways within the call plan.

- Click on Sounds under system management in the main menu and click on add
- Choose here for record file or upload file
Recording a sound file via the browser
A sound can be recorded via the microphone (if present) in a number of browsers. The latest browsers from Chrome, Firefox & Opera support this. Follow the steps below to record a sound.
- Accept the warning and allow sounds to be recorded via the browser
- Select "record file"
- Click on record, the recording starts immediately
- After recording, you can listen to the recording immediately
- If you're not satisfied, record again, the old recording will be discarded.


Recording a sound file via Audacity
- Download the open-source program Audacity and install it on your PC or Mac.
- Start the recording and speak the text.
- Edit the recording if necessary.
- Save the file as a .wav file. (.mp3 and .mp4 are also allowed, but .wav is the easiest).
- Add the file via "Upload file" and select the chosen file
Recording a sound file can also be done easily on almost any smartphone. On an iPhone, for example, there is the standard Voice Memos app for recording a sound file.
Upload sound
- Enter a name and description
- If you want to use this file immediately as a message, check "Add message".
- If you want to use this file only as a Voicemail message, skip the "Add message" option.
- Click on "Save" to save the sound
- It can take 15 minutes before a file is actually audible.
