Distinctive ringtone

Hear whether an incoming call is internal or external.

A separate internal ringtone and external ringtone.

What you need to set on your device to make it work.

Yealink T4x

Go to Settings > Ring

Fill in for 1 Internal Ringer Text: alert-internal

Choose which ringtone should be played for Internal Ringer File.

Yealink T5x

Same as for the T4x but it looks slightly different.

Go to Settings > Ring

Fill in for 1 Internal Ringer Text: alert-internal

Choose which ringtone should be played for Internal Ringer File.

Gigaset N510

Configure this on the handset

Go to Menu - Settings - Audio Settings - Ringtones (Handset) - Melodies > Set the correct ringtone for internal and the SIP account in use

Grandstream GXP

Go to Accounts > Account 1 > Call Settings

Fill in alert-internal for Matching rule and choose which ringtone should be played next to it.

Cisco CP

Go to the Voice tab > Phone and go to the Ringtone section

Add the following to Ring 1: h=alert-internal;

Snom

Go to Setup > Preferences > Audio tab

Check if Alert Internal Text says: alert-internal, modify if necessary.

Choose which ringtone should be played for Alert Internal Ringer.
