Voys supports H264 and H263+ for video calling. This is possible with the more advanced phone devices and certain softphones. To be able to make video calls, you must first enable 'videosupport' in your VoIP account. Here's how:
- Go to your VoIP account on Freedom.
- Click on the 'advanced SIP settings' tab and go to the 'expert options' field.
- Here you will see that 'videosupport=no' is set. Change this to 'yes'.
- Then click on 'save'.
Video support is disabled by default to keep SIP packets smaller. Some routers cannot handle these larger SIP packets.
Note: Video calling is only possible with calls within our platform.
