
You can connect 3CX to Voys via TLS/SRTP (encrypted). Read this guide to learn how to set up this connection.
Attention! If you want to use the 3CX phone system on an external cloud infrastructure, this might not be possible in combination with Voys.

Connecting 3CX to a VoIP trunk
- Log in to Freedom
- Go to Admin
- Click on VoIP-Trunk
- Click on the edit icon next to the VoIP trunk or add a VoIP Trunk first
- In the overview, you'll see the Account ID and associated Password. Make a note of these.

Asterisk
- Go to your Asterisk
- Click on SIP Trunk in the left menu.
- Click on Add SIP Trunk
- Select Generic for Select Country
- Select Asterisk for Select Provider in your Country
- For Main Trunk No, enter your phone number starting with the country code (31) and without a zero. For example: 31501234567.
- Click OK

- For both Registrar/Server/Gateway Hostname or IP and Outbound Proxy, enter the SIP Server you received.
- For Number of SIM Calls, set the number equal to the number of simultaneous calls of the Trunk in the portal.
- For Type of Authentication, select Register/Account Based
- For Authentication ID, enter the Account ID
- For Authentication Password, enter the corresponding password.

- Click on the Options tab.
- Change the Re-Register Timeout to 1800.
- Change the Transport Protocol to UDP.
- Change the IP Mode to IPV4.
- Select G.711 A-law and click on Move Up.
- Click on OK.
