Step 2: Adding your mobile number to a call group
Before adding your number to the call flow, it's important to first consider whether customers should be able to reach your mobile provider's voicemail. You're setting up a forward to your mobile provider. Is your voicemail there suitable for this purpose or not?
If customers can reach your voicemail or you don't have a voicemail, continue reading at step 3.
- Go to the Call group module in Freedom.
- Click on Add.
- The call group must have an internal number as its title. Choose one or make up a number.
- For the Description, indicate that it's your mobile number.
- Make sure Call confirmation is set to Standard in this call group. This will ensure that your mobile voicemail is not used.
- For Destinations, select your phone number from the Fixed/Mobile section.
- Click Save.
You have now created a call group that will be added to the dial plan in the next step.
Step 3: Adding your mobile number to the dial plan
- Go to the Dial plans in Freedom.

- If you don't have voicemail on your mobile phone, make sure you add an announcement or voicemail after your mobile number. If you're busy or don't answer, the connection won't be abruptly terminated for your customer.
2. My customers should not reach my mobile provider voicemail.
- Choose Call group.
- Then choose the call group that contains your mobile number with call confirmation set to standard.
- Click Confirm.

- Click Save changes.
- Click Save.
- Your call forwarding is now active!
- Note! When you receive a call and answer it, you'll first hear a female voice indicating that you need to press 1 to accept the call. Once you do this, you'll be connected to your customer. This has been activated to ensure that the customer never ends up on your mobile voicemail.
