1. I have problems with my headset
1.1 There is noise on the line, I don't hear the customer (well) or the customer doesn't hear me (well)
When you pick up the base of your Plantronics, you'll see a button underneath with the letters a through g. These are different frequencies. To ensure that you are on the best frequency, you can do the following.

- Set the arrow to letter A (this is often the right one to choose).
- Set the other two sliders to 2.
- Call a colleague.
- Talk to each other. How do you experience the quality?
- Then continue with letter B.
- Talk to each other. How do you experience the quality? Write it down if you and your colleague can hear each other well.
- Do this with all letters. At the end, you will have several frequencies that work best. Choose one of those.
- If nothing worked, check if you get different results with the sliders that you set to 2.

1.2 My headset is not functioning properly.
You've checked that all settings are correct and all cables are connected properly, but the headset still isn't functioning properly. You can reset your headset. Do this as follows and pay close attention to the order, as it is very important!
- Remove the adapter/power cable from the base station of your headset. If you're not sure it's turned off, remove all plugs.
- Then remove the battery from the headset. You can look online for instructions on how to do this for your specific headset model.
- Now disconnect the power from your device. Once it's powered off, plug the cable back in.
- Once your device is fully back online, reconnect the adapter to the base station.
- Finally, put the battery back into your headset.

2. Connecting Plantronics to a Cisco SPA
Step 1
Connect the power adapter and the APC-45 cable to the back of the base station. The APC-45 cable has a transparent rectangular block (RJ45) with a round connector (jack).

Step 2
The jack located at the end of the APC-45 cable must be plugged into the side of the Cisco device. It should be pressed in firmly until you hear or feel a click.
