The Voys platform is continuously evolving, ensuring that you don't have to worry about setting up your telephony. The current development focus is on "The user;" the user account that allows you to log in to Voys and set your availability. On this page, you'll learn how to make smart use of your user account.
Link devices to your user
Whether you're using one or multiple phones, it's always useful to link your device to your user account. When all your devices are linked to your User, it becomes possible to quickly and easily change your availability. This allows you to swiftly switch between calling via the Voys webphone, the Voys app, your desk phone, or your mobile number.
Managing your availability (complete)
When your user account is in the dial plan, you're in control of your availability. The user account has the following options:
- Internal number: this is the number your colleagues can use to reach you internally. They don't need to search for the phone device where you're currently available, they are automatically redirected to the location where you've indicated you're available.

- The destination: here you indicate which device you're available on. Are you on the go? Set your availability to your app. Working from home? Then you're available via the Webphone.

Have you indicated that you're not available, but your phone keeps ringing? Then the phone is probably separate in the dial plan. This means that the availability you set as a user is not applied. Want to make optimal use of the availability options? Make sure your dial plan looks like this:

Managing your availability (custom)
The user in custom mode works based on destinations. You link the destination by selecting the VoIP account (the online SIM card) of your device.
- Under the VoIP accounts option, select the account of your desk phone.
- Under Webphone account, select the VoIP account you use for your Webphone
- Under App account, select the VoIP account you use for the Voys app
