You can see who is calling through number recognition. This method is explained below.
Number Recognition
When someone calls you, your phone shows the telephone number of the caller. If this number is saved in your contacts, you'll see the name of the caller as well.
To make sure you can identify who is calling, add your important contacts to your device's contact list. This works for desk phones, mobile phones, and the Webphone.
Shared Contacts
You can also use the shared contacts feature in your system to maintain a central contact database accessible to all users.
For more information on managing shared contacts, see the Contacts section in your portal.
Dial Plan Tips
You can also customize how caller information is displayed using your dial plan settings:
- Configure specific caller information to be shown for certain numbers
- Set up custom caller ID information for departments or groups
- Implement caller prioritization based on known numbers
For more information on configuring your dial plan for optimal caller identification, contact your system administrator.
